DIETRICH and ANNUA had a very busy fall and winter with their growing philanthropic involvement. The marathon kicked off with sponsoring and volunteering at the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania’s Annual Fall Fest at Villanova University. In addition to the Fall Fest, DIETRICH and ANNUA also sponsored Special Olympics of Pennsylvania’s Philadelphia Polar Plunge at Drexel University. The team had five plungers this year who braved the cold and plunged into freezing water to support Special Olympics of Pennsylvania, providing opportunities for nearly 20,000 athletes to train in 22 sports and take part in more than 250 competitions across Pennsylvania every year.
Giving Tuesday continued the spirit of giving with a food drive in which all items collected were donated to the local Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard who offers food supplements to families who fall below the Montgomery County Poverty level. The Cupboard serves one-person-households to large families, most of whom do not have enough income to purchase ample food supplies. Also kicking off the holiday season was DIETRICH and ANNUA’s match program where they match up funds an employee donates to a charitable cause of their choice for the holidays.
To round out the year, DIETRICH and ANNUA continued their tradition of sending Cookies for Kids’ Cancer to their clients as part of their year-round partnership. Most recently, Cookies for Kids’ approved $1.8 million in grants to fund research for new, improved and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer.
The team at DIETRICH and ANNUA are proud of their ongoing efforts to provide funds and support for charitable causes from the local community to nationwide, all year long.
Stay tuned for future updated and exciting news about additional charitable involvement.
